The Timberwolves take a page from the Vikings

The Timberwolves would like some upgrades to the Target Center, but are meeting some resistance. The Vikings wanted a new stadium, and met resistance. The Vikings eventually got their stadium. The Timberwolves, ever vigilant, looked to what the Vikings did over the last year to get the stadium. First step, get a star player injured.
At least, that's the theory I have. The Twins and Wild already have their new stadiums and are experiencing their widespread injuries after the fact. The point I am trying to make is, if you want a new stadium in Minnesota, there will be blood.

Doing my Minnesota dilligence

Apparently, as a Minnesotan, I am supposed to be super excited about Ricky Rubio coming to America. Everyone is saying it. Because of my internet reading, I can say that A) this is good, because people might go to Timberwolves game now and B) this is bad because he didn't develop much after getting drafted and probably won't be very good. Anyways, Woohoo, some Spanish guy!
