Eric Devendorf....
is still a tool. Sure, he helped his team with a couple of huge shots in their wins the past two nights, which included 7 overtimes and a lot of Johnny Flynn. This time of year, the hoopla surrounding basketball often supersedes the character flaws of individual players. I'm here to remind you that Syracuse's Eric Devendorf is not a good guy. He even looks like a white trash Kid Rock disciple. Go Louisville.

obviously you haven't read any of the follow-up coverage. There was no assault, just some basketball-groupie trying to run her car into a crowd of people and then calling the police and filing an erroneous (read: fraudulent) report. Several witnesses to the incident confirmed this and the school's disciplinary board couldn't find any evidence to the contrary or he'd be gone. Both Boeheim and G Mac have spoken out in support of Devo-- as a Syracuse fan and '07 alum, that's enough for me.
also... the fact that he "looks like" white trash really doesn't prove anything. It "looks like" you couldn't find anything substantial to write on your ridiculous blog so you resorted to childish insults. To me, it "looks like" Devo is on his way to being one of the tournaments most influential (albeit, colorful...) players and it "looks like" you should do a little more research.
Stop hating Eric. He didn't do anything wrong. He never hit the woman, she admitted she lied...Bad judgment perhaps being out at 3 AM partying, but big deal! He's an excellent human being. Just think about the harm you do before you write trash like this.
Stop hating on Devendorf. The guy is just a passionate bball player who likes to talk a little junk on the court. You dont even know the guy. He is a heck of a ball player and a loving father. Ur trash for righting this. Get a life and stop hating.
