How about more day baseball?

Day baseball is how the game got started. It provides a lot of the charm to the current game. Say what you will about the Cubs, but it's fun to flip on WGN on an idle Tuesday afternoon and be able to watch some baseball. Sure, the night game is in primetime, but how can you not love the lazy elegance that is a day game? It's so commercialized at night, competing with network television and all.
Aside from the charm, Victoria-Weather has a good reason for more day baseball. The weather (believe it or not)! It would solve all those cold issues in April and help get more games in during the summer months, when thunderstorms like to pop up in the evening.
And while we're on the topic of the cold, why not let teams play in that kind of weather? More than likely, come October teams are going to have to deal with it in the most important games of the season. And we can't play some crap game in this weather? In the past few seasons, Detroit, Boston, Chicago and Colorado have all hosted playoff games. I say let the season match the playoffs somehow. If we're going to have players play in crappy weather in October, what's so different about April? It seems unreasonable to have such a double standard.
